David has over 30 years' global fundraising experience across the alternative investments including private equity, debt, credit, infrastructure and real Estate. Beginning his financial career at Kleinwort Benson in 1986, David subsequently worked at Macquarie Bank (London and Sydney), Banque Indosuez (Bahrain), and UBS before co-founding the Alternatives Group at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson (DrKW) in 2000 and First Avenue Partners in 2005. In 2006 he founded Karroo Capital. From 2009-2015 David served as an Independent Director on the Supervisory Board of Fondinvest; a European leader and pioneer in Private Equity Fund of Funds and Secondaries with over €2.5bn AUM before its sale to a consortium of private buyers. David served as an Officer in the Royal Air Force Regiment between 1981-1986.

Torsten has over 23 years' global fundraising experience in alternative assets, predominantly Private Equity, Venture Capital and Real Estate, working initially with placements firms Trinity Group and Cygnus Capital. He founded Orchard Capital in 2009 and started collaborating with Karroo Capital in 2010. He joined Karroo in 2015. Prior to working in financial services, Torsten served as an officer in the British Army and as an engineer with Schulmberger. He has a BSc in Geology from from Kings College London.

Philippe joined Karroo in 2015 and has over 40 years international experience as banker/intrapreneur for 25 years and as entrepreneur/advisor for 15 years. Until 2007 he built and operated capital markets and alternative investment distribution platforms, in hedge funds, private equity, SIV's, and real estate. In 2007, he co-founded Case Advisors Ltd, a specialist advisor to investment managers and privately held enterprises and worked on 14 mandates. In 2001, he co-founded Allianz Hedge Fund Partners, where he served as co-CEO and co-Head of Business Development before selling the business to AGF in March 2007. At Citibank from 1987 to 2001, Philippe exercised multiple roles and responsibilities between London, Paris and Geneva including as Regional Head of Distribution for Citigroup Alternative Investment Strategies (AIS) in Europe. Philippe started his financial career in Belgium with Generale Bank (Brussels).
